Agrotechnology & Food Sciences Group (AFSG) is an organisation for strategic and applied-scientific research for industry and national and international authorities. The market-driven research covers the whole production chain; from optimising growing techniques via sustainable development and quality improvement to consumer product perception. AFSG is involved in BASE through the department Bioconversion, Biofunctional peptide-polymer development, biosynthesis and production and provides unique peptide expression know-how, technology & pilot facilities and peptide scale-up synthesis via fermentation including purification and quality assurance. AFSG is also a Workpackage Leader.
