Centre for Electrochemical Research and Development |
|
The Centre for Electrochemical Research and Development (CIDETEC) which is located at the Technological Park of San Sebastian in Spain, was created in 1997 as a non-profit Research foundation. The aim of CIDETEC is to help industries in solving technical problems by both promoting research activities and improving the transfer of electrochemical technologies. For the development of its activity, CIDETEC has advanced technical equipment, as well as highly qualified personnel available, able to carry out specialised services of RTD, technical advising, technological diffusion, and search for information, formation and accomplishment of tests. CIDETEC aims at special research concerning improvement of electrochemical processes. It enters the BASE project with state-of-the-art testing equipment. CIDETEC approaches all electrochemical technologies, applying its experience and knowledge in the main activity areas of: Energy, Surface Finishing and New Materials. CIDETEC has expertise in three main areas: energy, surface finishing, and new materials. CIDETEC is integrated in both the Basque Technology Network (SARETEK) and the Spanish Federation of Innovation and Technology Organisations (FEDIT). CIDETEC is also a Workpackage Leader. |
